Halo 3 is the top selling game on Xbox 360. I would agree, Halo 3 is exclusive to Xbox 360. Also, the hype around this game is amazing. Any store that sold video games at the time of Halo 3’s realese benifited from this one game, almost eveyrone I know that has an Xbox 360 has Halo 3. It is the conclusion to an already “Triple-A” franchise. “Triple-A” meaning, multi-million dollar net income. Halo has also had no contreversy, no need to worry about kids not getting this game because it’s too violent, and the M-rating (16+ rating from PEGI) attracts adults as well.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the second best selling game. Not suprising, Modern Warfare 2 has been a hit on every platform! Once again, Modern Warfare 2 is on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC (personal computer developed and published by Microsoft). Also, Xbox Live has recieved better reviews than the Playstation Network and the PC online services. Plus, all of the map packs for Modern Warfare 2 are on Xbox Live only.

Gears of War is the third best selling game on Xbox 360. This is not suprising, what is suprising is the fact that Gears of War has only sold 5 million copies on xbox 360 and on PC put together. Although that is a lot of money. If a new game is sixty dollars, and 5 million copies sold, 300 million dollars net total. Of course, that is only an asumption, people pay tax which is more, and people pay less because Gears of War has gone far down in price.

Gears of War 2 is the fourth best selling game on Xbox 360. I am supriesed that it sold the same number of copies. Normally sequals sell more copies, especially when the origonal game is a best-seller. This also goes for movies and books.

Grand Theft Auto lV is the fifth best-selling game on xbox 360. GTAlV has risen a lot of contreversy. The violence, crime, sex, and profanity has gotten the attention of gamers and parents. I would think that GTAlV would not be the best-selling game on xbox 360 but I’m not supriesed that it isn’t in the top. The contreversy would bring good and bad attention, people want to play the game because of the many options, freedom, and mature topics like violence and sex. But people would avoide it for the exact same reasons.

Call of Duty 4 is the sixth best selling game on xbox 360. Call of Duty 4 was the first really good modern warfare game. Call of Duty 4 has a exciting single player and a infinitely fun multilayer on xbox live.

Call of Duty World at War is the seventh best-selling game on xbox 360. World at War was not expected. I would think Call of Duty 2 would have sold more copies, mostly because it was the best-selling xbox 360 game until Gears of War came out about a year later.

Halo 3: ODST is the eigth best selling game on Xbox 360. Halo 3: ODST is the prequal to Halo 3. It had mixed reviews but a lot of people enjoyed it. I personally loved it. I am wearing a Halo 3: ODST t-shirt while I am writing this article. So I am glad ODST has gotten the attention it has.

Forza Motorsport 2 is the nineth best selling game on Xbox 360. This is a popular racing game the was one of the first on the Xbox 360. The most recent Forza Motorsport game, Forza 3, came out a couple months ago.

Assassins Creed is the tenth best-selling game on Xbox 360. Assassins Creed is considered one of the first true next-generation games on the xbox 360. I would dissagree, Assassins Creed came out in 2007, two years after the 2005 realese of the Xbox 360.
